Terms of service

 

Reservations & Refund Policies:

Payment is required at the time of order to confirm and hold your date.

1.      For the safety of everyone, especially children, please DO NOT allow anyone to play on or around the lawn greetings display. Our display items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting, or playing on it. Please discourage all persons from playing on or around the display.

2.      We do ask that you take pride in your lawn display and treat it with respect. Please do not move the items.

3.      Please do not throw lawn display items in the garbage or vandalize our signs. Even if you do not like the display gift given to you, these items are our property and business. It is best to notify the honoree to not harm the display, as you are still responsible for it.

4.      Please protect our inventory from any damage that might be caused due to flying debris from lawnmowers, dogs, etc. Mowing or trimming the lawn with string trimmers can damage the sign.

5.      Please do not attach balloons to any part of the display. Balloons get hot in the sun. If a hot balloon blows against our signs, our sign may become damaged.

6.      If you have a lawn crew, please arrange for them to come before the sign is set up or after the sign is picked up. Do NOT have any lawn work done when the sign is up. Grass clippings stain and mowers and weed whackers damage the signs. If the lawn is mowed or weed whacked while the sign is set up causing damage, you will not be able to book a sign in the future and/or will be charged for any damages done to the signs.

7.      If you have a gate or live in a gated community that prevents access to the yard, LawnMark Cards staff will call and/or text the number of the booking form. If there is no response within 10 minutes, staff will leave and the sign will not go up. There will be no refund.

8.      If the ground is rocky and difficult to stake, the sign will be set up in any location in the yard that can be staked.

9.      We encourage you to pose next to the display to take photographs of your celebration. However, please do not pull the signs from the ground. LawnMark Cards and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the set-up or removal of any rental.

10.   LawnMark Cards reserves the right to politely decline orders that are political, controversial, lewd, disrespectful, or that do not fit the celebratory nature of our business. LawnMark Cards locations are independently owned and revising requested wording or declining orders is done so at the Franchise owner's discretion. If an order is declined, a full refund will be given.

11.   Lawn should be free of any dog feces, we will not setup if not clean.

12.   If the agreed-upon message or sign details are changed after payment is secured, client will be responsible for paying additional charges. This also applies to incorrect address location. If the incorrect address is put on the booking form and sign has been set up based on given information, client will be charged $50 to come back remove and reset the sign.

13.   The reservation is not booked until payment is received. If payment is not received until the day of the set up date, you may incur an additional $30 late fee.

 

Refund Policy:

1.      If you must cancel your booking, you can choose to receive half of your booking rate as a refund, or you may leave the full amount on credit for a future booking date, based on our availability.

2.      In the event of inclement weather, we may not be able to set up any lawn displays. Inclement weather includes lightning/thunderstorms, hurricanes, heavy rain, high winds, snowstorms and any other Act of God that would put us or our lawn display in harm's way.

3.      No refunds will be given due to the client giving us the wrong address.

4.      No refunds will be given due to the homeowner or yard card recipient requesting us to remove the lawn display.

5.      No refunds will be given due to being denied access to a gated community.

6.      No refunds will be given due to any animals that prevent the display from being set up.

7.      No refunds will be given for circumstances that prevent us from setting up the display, that are out of our control.

We begin installing greetings after 7:00 PM, and pick up the following evening after dark. By placing an order with LawnMark Cards, you agree to all policies stated above.
